WELCOME TO YOUR FATHER'S DEN!

Welcome to Your Father's Den! Here you will find the"best of the best" of reel to reel music just like dear old Dad use to play. The format and genre will be similar to that of the Hut. I chose to do this blog because there are tapes out there in high quality analog that no one has ever heard before(including myself) It gives the listener a chance to hear some great music as it was meant to be heard. So I hope you will enjoy this new blog and I welcome any comments.

Welcome back!!!!

This is such a sweet sounding tape like most the Command R2R's. I have a copy of this tape, and it's amazing how it sounds on my Marantz 2270 and HPM-100's. WOW!

Can't wait for the next R2R posting!

And a little shameless plug--on 11/27, the Buddies Lounge Holiday Hour will be playing the entire "Christmas Holidays at Radio City Music Hall" album from 2-track R2R!

Tape is king!

Incredible sound, pure and cool as you can do with the reel tapes in your state-of-art digi-music center (the HUT is the name, right?).

I've tried to find this album in CD via Amazon.com but now is out of print.

Thanks a lot Rick for the music and congrats for this amazing blog.

Greetings from Quito - Ecuador, SouthAmerica.

Slayer,
Yes, The Hut is where I do all my digital work. I too use to look for all of these albums on CD, but with the reels I don't have to remove any of the sound so you are getting the actual sound as it was originally played on my reel to reel. You can't get any better unless it's a WAV file of course.
